Toronto Wine and Spirit Festival

Well, looks like the King of Toronto’s Beer Festival, Scott Rondeau, has decided to broaden his tastebuds and start a wine and spirit festival in The Distillery. Kicking off the Summer Solstice on Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20, the Distillery will be transformed into an alcohol and food playground. From kicking your shoes off at the Barefoot Sangria area at the end of Trinity Lane to tasting Robert Mondavi’s Private selection at the Thompson Landry Gallery; your palate will not be disappointed. For those of you who have discriminating Beer and Spirit tastes, Cameron’s and Mill Street will be there along with Scotch tasting, featuring Glenmorangie, as well as a Strawberry Social showcasing Appleton Rum Daiquiri’s and strawberries from Andrew’s Scenic Acres.

There will be a plethora of wine’s to entice your tastebuds, including a Conscious Food Festival where we will be celebrating local food, featuring dishes made with local ingredients from a variety of establishments and pairings with local wineries from Prince Edward County.

Saturday will showcase a few seminars, including a presentation from Ange and Pax, the Wine Enthusiast’s, discussing Barefoot Wines.

Share a Glass will be there on Friday to experience this festival first hand and have a chance to try some of these delectable treats.

See you there!
