Chilean Wine & Food FestivalThree great events in two short days, the third annual Chilean Wine & Food Festival sent sparks through the Distillery District. From a trade tasting in the afternoon to an evening filled with Chilean music, spicy food, and an amazing array of wines. Providing an authentic Chilean setting, guests were able to educate themselves on Chile’s important role in the wine world and savour the outstanding wines the 35 wineries had to offer. Food Stations were scattered throughout the room and boasted a great menu of Chilean delicacies created and served by L-EAT Catering.

Archeo Trattoria hosted a one of a kind Chilean Winemaker’s Dinner on October 4. An extraordinary line-up of five top Chilean winemakers Viña Casa Marìn, the only female owner and winemaker in Chile; Viña Cousiño Macul; Viña La Rosa; Viña Tarapaca; and Viña Casa Lapostolle, part of the Grand Marnier family. Winemakers mixed and mingled with the crowd sharing trade secrets and stories about their winemaking and paired their wines with a tantalizing 5-course meal.
